Saudi MOH: 2 New MERS Cases & Statement On Hail Hospital

Two days ago I mentioned unconfirmed media reports of a MERS outbreak at a hospital in Al Rass, which the MOH denied.  Overnight the Saudi MOH posted a statement about another rumored outbreak - this time in Hail - where three cases (2 listed as `primary') have been reported this month.

The Ministry of Health through the command and control center that is absolutely no truth to the rumors about the existence of numerous cases of patients b (Corona) in Hail, The Centre indicated that the number of proven cases there is only one case, and there is another case is under way to make sure diagnosed.

The ministry stressed that all the information about the disease (Corona) in the UK are available in the Command Center website and control branching from the ministry account, which is updated daily. The latest statistics published on the ministry's account (Twitter)


This morning's update includes two new cases, and one of them (already deceased) - listed as `under investigation' - is indeed from Hail.


Meanwhile Buraidah chalks up another case - this time a household contact of a previously identified case - bringing that region's total to 33 cases for the month of March. While many are hospital acquired, roughly 1/3rd appear to be primary or community cases.
